your exactly right. A special panoramic camera would take a picture once on a set distance, that's how you get street view :P

its a van with a video camera mounted on the top, its very eye catching by the way
I guess, because everyone else said so, and I thought they did it by satellites. I never saw a van like that go past my house!?!
