Is brazil as dirty poor and ugly as google earth shows?

I love google street view, google earth and the latest update was brazil, (rio de janieor, sao paulo and belo horizonte) and I started browsing and just about every where you go in these cities, the main thing you can see is how ugly, dirty and poor they look.



Honestly 95% of sao paulo and rio de janeiro looks worst than any american or european ghetto!!!

The best of Brazil is in the Northeastern. It's the true Brazilian culture: music, dance, cuisine, poetry, novels, theatre etc.

The South is a copy of European culture.

Nowadays, TV don't want to show the beauty of Brazil. Why? Because audience wants to see violence, rumors, scandals, sex... So, TV shows what people wants to see.

Yes it is however the Brazilian government wastes millions on self promoting the very few Beautiful areas of Brazil and their own TV only shows the pretty areas too.

Is really sad when a country is more worried on keeping appearances that to actually help its people.

Did you know that for the 2014 World cup Brazil will demolish Hundred of houses at Favelas just so that the Tourist and TV stations don't show them ?
People who life on Favelas are been obligated to leave their homes and many their cities so that Brazil doesn't look ugly on TV.




EDIT: I am just wandering why did a bunch of brazilians thumb down my answers serious it is the truth WE CAN LITERALLY SEE BRAZIL FROM A SATELLITE VIEW. Its hard to be a liar when you can see it on a satellite unless google is editing pictures....

I guess so I always imagine Brasil as a dirty country. I am sorry but this is the prejudice I have I cannot change it. It is one of the last countries I want to visit though it has many beautiful natural and historical beings.
