I went on google earth today and the street view was missing, anybody know why?

I don't know how to get it back, or did they take it off, I have had it always.I went on google earth today and the street view was missing, anybody know why?
It looks like the Street View interface has changed. I also could not find the layer tick box today in Google Earth 6 here.



However when you zoom in then in the right hand navigation icons an orange figure (what Google calls a pegman icon) appears - you need to then drag this figure onto the area you want to open in Street View.
