Type your postcode in the maps section of google and the select street view.

When you are in Google Earth, with the left pane visible, this pane is split into sections, the top bit is where you search for somewhere, like type in a place or postcode, then in the middle you have places and My Places which you have pinpointed, and then the third section is Layers where you have roads, 3D buildings, weather etc. If you have the latest version of GoogleEarth you will see the option Street View here, so just tick that and when you go to a place you will see all the cameras along the road. Not everywhere, main towns, main roads. I know there has been a lot of controversy about this, but I think it is absolutely marvellous. I've been able to visit places I haven't been to for years, and it really is just like walking down the road.
No it isnt, I thought the same it is actually in Google Maps. You just type in the address you want to look at and click on satellite on the right upper hand side and then on the left you will see a little yellow man which you drag across to the address which is pinpointed and click on it and it will take you on the road you are searching for, it is good fun looking at addresses of friends and family!How do you use google street view? isit within google earth?
It's in Google Maps. Type in where you want to go and then drag the little yellow man on the left to where you want to go, if it goes blue than it will work but if it doesnt go blue then it wont!

this is what it says in paper....go to maps.google.co.uk.....and put the postcode or address in the box at the top of the page and click search......click on the orange bubble pointer and you will see a link to street view....
i think it is within google earth.
Google maps has a street level view in certain cities,most larger to average cities in the U.S. and only major cities in the rest of the world
not sure eather ive tried but cant do it ...so im going to watch this question
