Why does Google Earth always crash on street view?

......Why does Google Earth always crash on street view?
probably because its more memory intensive then the general google earth, how much ram do you have?

yea 1g of ram is not really enough considering youre probably running alot of background apps, so i would suggest either getting more ram or playing around with google maps on google, but yes, if you have a desktop its not too much money to upgrade ram, probably like 40 bucks to buy new sticks of it.

So you could do that, and it would help the overall speed of your computer, you could also format your harddrives and reinstall a new OS such as windows 7 which is free if you go on technet.com

So really whatever you want :)Why does Google Earth always crash on street view?
Google Earth is pretty memory intensive. Your computer needs to meet the recommended system requirements:

Recommended:

Operating System: Windows XP or Windows Vista

CPU: Pentium 4 2.4GHz+ or AMD 2400xp+

System Memory (RAM): 512MB

Hard Disk: 2GB free space

Network Speed: 768 Kbits/sec

Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 32MB of VRAM

Screen: 1280x1024, "32-bit True Color"

If you meet all of those requirements, then make sure you aren't running any other large programs, or restart your computer.

If that still doesn't work, then you need to clear up space on your hard drive and/or defragment your hard drive. To defragment, go to Start -%26gt; Programs -%26gt; Accessories -%26gt; System Tools -%26gt; Disk Defragmenter and click "Defragment." It'll take between 30 minutes and an hour or so, and it moves around files so that your computer can find files more easily and thus perform more efficiently.
