Help with Google Earth. Street view and sth. else?

So here's the thing, I installed Windows 7 and Google Earth so I'm looking for something that I can't find. Before this happened: when I get as close as possible in a street I click once more (just once not twice to get closer) and I get to see the street as if I'm walking on it, if I click further the yellow man will move fast and go down the street where I clicked at. Now all I can find is the street view which is boring because it takes me time to go from one image to other and I'm SURE before I didn't have to click on some sphere photos...just on th street. Any idea what I'm talking about and how to do it because I can't remember the exact thing and it doesn't work now.Help with Google Earth. Street view and sth. else?

on google earth, go where you want and click the cameras, that takes you to street view, to exit street view, click exit street viewHelp with Google Earth. Street view and sth. else?
Google has two different versions of Streetview. Check out Google maps instead: maps.google.com - the navigation control on the left.
