Google earth images are so out of date.?

Don't you agree that Google Earth has been using really old bird's eye views of cities? I live in London, United Kingdom and when I zoomed into my street I realized that the street had features that I could remember were there around 2002/2003. The street has changed a lot since then!. Why is the program so useless, Google guys?Google earth images are so out of date.?

Yeah...I'm glad you said this. I'm in Alghero (Italy) and my house from google is not recent at all. There's at least 6-7 yrs difference!!!

yes I noticed that also and I live in the Midwest of the US. think about it. why would the government show the world something that is so up to date that people could use it for their own means, (besides just maps). also, why would they show us that they can spy on us from that far away? When I looked at my house the picture was about 2003.
