if you look up waller dr in crittenden ky, 41030 on like microsoft live earth map it shows a road that is not there when you do the arial view, where waller road is it shows barly circle, i know it is wong because I live on the road and you can see it on microsoft live earth map that it is not there. where do you report this error to get it fixed it. Microsoft Live gets its maps from Navteq. Below is the link for reporting an area that needs updating. Another map provider is teleatlas, I've provided the link, they also allow you to say where a map needs updating.



Keep in mind, you submit a report to Navteq, they will update their maps, but providers choose at what interval to buy updates from Navteq, to keep costs down, many places only update once a year, so it could be up to a year before you might see changes to map and nav systems.

We made this loan based on information from a loan broker we had worked with for several years. The title company used a map that was out of date. Since the time of the map, a boulevard had been expanded into an expressway, which truncated the lots in question and eliminated any access to the lots. I disagree with your contentions on the title insurer. The title firm insures clear and equitable title to the property. There are no guarantees in such a title that there is access to the property. There is landlocked property all over the place which has 'clear and equitable title'. I'm guessing that you bought these properties sight unseen yourself, and were salivating at a low price. Then snapped up what you thought was a bargain, to find that you bought a real pig.

Current UFO sighting for South Californians?

Well its May 6, 2010 and I am seeing what I believe is a UFO sighting. It has appeared several nights in a row and varies getting brighter or smaller (when being viewed on same night). I understand some may say that it has to do with the weather and such but I have viewed it with binoculars and it appears to have four lights and a little red one on the side. That is all I see so there is a possibility there is more or less. It is not a plane or other aircraft from here and it stays in the same spot but from hour disappears. If you don't believe it then please don't shun this info down but I just wanted to get this out there.



If you want to keep an eye out for this shinning object, preferably with a telescope because I don't own one, I first saw it around 8:00 P.M. Living in South California, in the city Alhambra, look Northwest. So try looking North, towards where you would find the state of Washington on a map or literally would inevitably end up in Washington if you traveled forward for a really long time. I know not everyone lives near this area and if you Google Earth 2120 West Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91803; it should be west of that area (by the view you get on Google Earth).



This has taken me a while to write because I keep getting distracted by someone who was viewing it with me. I just went outside and it's gone. Completely gone in the sense that there is no shinning object nearby the place where seen. Seen: around 8 P.M. Disappearance: 9:27 P.M. For many years people have seen strange objects that defy explanation. In the 1800's in west Texas a rancher reported seeing lights out in the middle of the desert and thought it might have been some Apaches making a fire. There are heaps of fascinating lights and glows that originate from natural phenomena in the earth's atmosphere that we do not completely understand yet. If it wasn't Venus that you saw, then it may have been one of those other natural glows.

Did I see ghost? what was it?

Back in Dec 1987 I know its a long time ago ... Anyway It was about 5am on the 2nd floor of a old house that over looked Pittsburgh on Spring Hill . The house is old so old that it had a entrance for coal in the front of it . The address is 907 Haslage Ave . My Grandfather lived on the first floor and my parents and I and my 2 other brothers were sleeping on the 2nd . Now our beds would of been in the living room if it was a seperate apt when you entered the 2nd floor. my bed on the right my other brother was on the left toward my parents bedroom and my 3rd brothers bed would of been opposite of mine in the center against the opposite wall of the apt door . There was a curtain on the window and everyone was sleeping when I awoke for whatever reason and i remember bumping the wall below the window . All of a sudden i seen a white glowing figure about 5 feet tall over my bed ( Im getting chills on my arms) I watched it for a second as it was at the bottom of the bed . It then moved towards my brother who was opposite of me really slow and it looked like it had a hat on of somekind a roundish hat . I know called for my mom as she was in the doorway seeing what i saw i yelled and as I did a ghostly figure past right through my mom as she stood in the door way and another figure from my end of the bed on the right and instantly they all instantly joined in the middle of the room and flashed through the doorway (and there was a glow around the doorframe) that took you downstairs to the firstfloor where my grandfather came out into the halway and had a flashlight and was teling us to go back to bed and turn out the lights . He also saw what we saw but thought it was the lights from his apt.



Now since I was 5 back in 1975 or whatever year it was ive seen weird things in that house and being that little who would belive me. Ive seen weird lights on the ceiling no bigger then bottle cap lids that would be there night after night and my grandparents back in 75 would tell me that its a reflection from outside . Later on in life in the mid 80s before the 3 figure event that I talked about above I looked at the same ceiling same lights and there was no way that light could of got in . I got a ladder and climbed up to the ceiling and from the angles couldnt find a way to see anyway a reflection could of made it into the house to hit the ceiling at that angle.

Growing up there being about 9 or 10 when id stay there on weekeends Id hear footsteps upstairs when it was only me my grandfather and grandmother . My grandmother past away in feb 1986 my parents and us moved back in with my grandfather in Aug 1986 also becase my dad got laid off in 1985 when we moved back. Anyway sometimes it would get cold in the attic and my grandmothers old victrola would play when there was no one up on the 3rd floor. my grandfather would say that its becuase the crank didnt finish unwinding or whatever . I thought otherwise. Im almost 40 now and on the 30th of march its my b-day and I still have dreams about that place and the surrounding area . sometimes the same dream sometimes i wake up scared and chilled / sweaty . ...can u help me ? It amazes me.I mean like how did the city's get so big? Ive been looking on Google earth and it fascinates me just looking around on street view.I know that when the first colonists came to America they had allot of natural resources at their disposal.Was it just allot of hard work and determination?How did America get so big in such a short time?
Discoveries that branch out and lead to other discoveries pretty much causes everything in the world to grow exponentially. Industrial revolution played a huge roll. Immigration as well! A large percentage of the US's population are people who either immigrated or their parents immigrated there.

Also when money starts to get concentrated in one area people start to move towards the money in search for jobs, that's why city centers are always most densely populated.



Also discoveries in engineering in construction allowed for skyscrapers / multi story buildings that aid in concentrating populations in smaller areas!
Well, I'm not an American (I'm Dutch) but Americans have this thing about doing everything big or on a huge scale. Buildings, cars, motorbikes, construction projects, you name it, and they will challenge it, or if I may use the term, 'go for it'. Put short, they are (at least to me) a very ambitious and always have been. In a way, its a very challenging country where many have sought opportunity to mostly fail but at the same time become very wealthy. Americans have been heavily criticized on political issues around the world for continually doing wrong, to a point they have done wrong, based mostly on bad decisions etc, but this is nothing new, all Nations make mistakes, sometimes serious ones. But then again, only America has taken a lot of the risks to maintain peace around the world, this comes at great costs in terms of sacrifice, putting costs aside, these sacrifices are rarely ever mentioned but should be.
If my historical memory serves me correct the purchase of the 'state of Louisiana' back in 1814 or 1834 (I'm unsure) added a staggering 827,0000 square miles of territory to the United States for a meager sum of around $US15,000,000. Mind you, it was a lot of money then, but still a very good deal. It was purchased from France, as the French were keen to use those funds to fight their next war. It shows true determination to have acquired that land and it could only have been the Americans to have pulled-it-off. America didn't change size, but yes, the cities have grown. That is the result of population growth - both natural and immigration. There is a difference between city buildings in Europe and in America, Unlike Europe, Americans can buy a plot of land, design the building they want and put it up, regardless of what surrounding buildings look like. Of course, if it is too outre, neighbors might complain and the building might have to be altered. In America, the building codes used to be concerned mainly with the safe construction of a building. The exterior was up to you. That's changing in many places.How did America get so big in such a short time?
Freedom is the key. We had unlimited opportunities in the US. Governments did not interfere with progress. Natural resources help. But, look at Japan. It was basically flattened during WWII. The US introduced democratic and economic reforms, then turned the Japanese people loose. They never had any natural resources. They became a powerhouse in 50 years. It took the US about 500 years to develop.
Simple answer an abundance of land, labour (labor) and capital as well as the industrial revolution and financial gains from WW1 and WW2. Excellent entrepeneurs like Andrew Carnegie and banks who lent money on the basis of good business models rather than titles like in the UK and yes more personal liberty and freedom.

Here it is-Sorry, I answered this back at level two so it took me awhile to find.

One time I was walking down the hall and then I looked into my atrium and there was a shadow person in the shape of a black trench coat floating there with no hands, legs, or head but it was fastened where the hands, waist and everything else should have been. However, where the eyes would have been on a person, there were red glowing eyes floating above the shadow person's coat. I locked "eyes" or whatever those were with it and then I got scared (I was 11 at the time) and ran back into the hallway only to come back and there to be nothing but thin air where it was. I was about to record the audio of something, and about 4 seconds before it plays, I hear a voice with a British accent whisper, "Stab skin them". It scars the hell out of me but I can't let something like that go. I could download it to my PC but there's no point since none of you know me, you could easily say it's fake but I don't blame you.

Is this house Victorian or Edwardian?

I'm talking about my grandma's house. (I asked this question somewhere else and got 0 answers, so polls %26amp; surveys it the best for answers)

I think it's late Victorian but my mum thinks it's Edwardian.

The exact result is her house and look at the outside using the street view . Oh, yes, she's moved out of the house and it's empty now because it's very, very, very sadly getting knocked down in two weeks.. :(. Stalk her all you want, you won't find her!



Anyway, the front of the house is double fronted, door in the middle, two single sash windows to either side, a veranda, tin roof and decorative architraves around the door and windows. The original house was four rooms and a hallway, an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, laundry and toilet.



Walk through the front door, probably changed in the 60's to a porthole door, into an hallway. In the middle of the hallway, there is a hallway arch which looks victorian to me, not the wooden edwardian kind, similar to this one...

...and you can see where the chimney breast used to be, but all of them in the house were taken out in the 60's. It has no cornicing but has detailed skirting boards. Go back out of the hallway and turn right is another bedroom, same stuff, sash window, you can see where the chimney breast was, four panelled door and ceiling rose. Go down the hallway, turn left, another bedroom, sash window, four panelled door, old chimney breast, no cornicing and an un-vented ceiling rose. Turn back into the hallway and turn right into a living room, no cornicing, ceiling rose, no door, like the other rooms. Go back into the hallway and go to the end where an extension was added in the early 70's. My mum told me the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and toilet were all outside, if that helps. Then the extension connected the bathroom and kitchen to the main house.



Nothing great about the extension, just a long room. Then there's the kitchen, which has a low ceiling height, and the bathroom which which is even shorter than the kitchen. Then outside, is the laundry which has an edwardian looking door and an old fireplace. There is the outside toilet which is just a toilet and a door made out of a few boards and nails.



The whole house is built out of brick but has weatherboard at the front. It looks very similar to this house...

That is the newest Google Earth. He had 3d buildings enabled. Just download it and as you zoom in closer you'll see something that looks like bubbles, click on it and you'll have a street view. It's even on Google Maps: http://maps.google.com

I need help finding a street in France ?

My little sister is studying abroad this spring to Perpignan, France. I want to find what house she is staying in, but i am having an impossible time finding it. I speak/read zero french, so it's even harder to find. It seems as though the street doesnt even exist. (as far as i can tell on a map)

I don't think there's anything quite that complex besides Google Earth. If you're traveling in China, I would highly recommend just getting a cheap GPS unit for your car. They are incredibly helpful.

So, any map similar to google maps, like having street view, able to switch cities, and find directions if possible. But, i need to do this without internet connection, so google earth doesn't work. if anyone knows of a place that can have this downloaded china map, more specifically beijing and shanghai if that's easier, that would be greatly appreciated. 10 points to best answer. There is a software called 51ditu. It is free, and with that you can download any map of Chinese cities, but unfortunately it is in Chinese.

How do i see my street virtual tour?

the other day i was given a link that provided me with a virtual tour of anywhere i wanted to see via camera but not satalite birds eye view it was up close images of my entire road step by step, this is new and not a download nor is it something u have to pay for does anyone know the name of the site it is not google earth as this only provides a birds eye view.How do i see my street virtual tour?
Google Earth does provide street view - I have it. You have to have the latest version and the street view option is in the list on the left pane which you tick and when you go into a location you see all the cameras, just double click and you are there - street view. Otherwise, use Google Street Map which obviously is street view, no camera but little yellow men which you drag to the area you want. Bear in mind though that not all UK has been covered yet. With Google Earth, though the program is installed on your computer, to use it, it actually connects to the internet of course.

Hi i am16 years old living in essex england. i really want to move out to brisbane australia in any way i simply can! any job that pops up or just anything i will be there in a flash. But the thing is people have bin saying to me nowhere is perfect and australia is the same as any other country. i want to know more about brisbane as i have never ever been there in my life i have just seen i in pictures and on google street view and done infomation it on the net of course but never actually spoke to someone from there. Is it really paradise on earth? Wheres the best place in brisbane to live? And is there alot of crime in brisbane and is the weather and people quite bad? I wouldnt recomend the gold coast its Crime central, its had 3 shootings in a month, better as a holiday or day trip. Brisbane has a low crime rate. The weather is mild and dry in winter but get is warm-hot and humid in Summer and its wet season is Summer so we dont get bush fores like the southern states as well as not getting heat waves. People in Brisbane are nice but just like any other city else there are the wankery type of people here. The best suburbs are on the North side of the river but the inner city part south is still fine, just as you get out south of greenslopes (suburb) it starts getting a bit bogan/trashy, My favourite suburb probably be baddington or New farm both have a cafe, alfresco dinning type feel about them, and theyre very prettyI want to know about brisbane australia please?

Im from Essex too-Maldon, I came here when i young. I grew up in Perth, and now I live on the Gold Coast which is 1 hour south of Brisbane. Its true, that no country on earth is perfect, they all have their pros and cons, it depends if the pros of Brisbane beat the pros f Essex and only you can be the judge of that as it comes down to personal preferences!! I myself thank my parents everyday for emigrating to this beautiful amazing country. The quality of life is great, as is the weather!!!



Brisbane is a great city, its not too cold in the winter and the summers are arm, and humid. I believe the inner suburbs are better to live in, as you can still be close to the city and get a feel for Brisbane life, but not be stuck out in the suburbs, try Taringa, Toowong, West end, Paddington, Spring Hill areas. The people are great and crime is low. I prefer the Gold Coast as its close to the beach and has a more laid back lifestyle, its a tourist town.

Happy 2009What is the best way to make a huge image that can be zoomed ,may be, 20 or 30 times?
First off, expect this to be a time consuming project. That said,

this is what I would do... first go to google earth, and before doing anything else, go to the tools pull-down menu... from there, click the 3D View tab, and make sure these settings are as follows:

Texture Color: True Color (32 bit)

Terrian Quality: Higher (slower)

Map Size: Large

Zoom Relation: Infinity

Then, zoom into each area as closely as possible without skewing it (it should be like you are flying in the air and looking straight down at it, not like you are standing and looking out at it). E-mail the image to yourself. Pan, repeat. Make sure each image is "shot" from the SAME distance otherwise they won't line up right when you put them together.

Next, paste each image into a large photoshop document (high DPI, large physical size) and line it up with other images the best you can. Save as a PSD that you can adjust it later if you want, but also save a JPG for a reduced file size and to flatten layers (it will still be a HUGE file).

okay so what i really want to do is go down on a road to see some houses from the front and not just the birds eye view. i want to be able to drag down to go down the road to be able to see the houses from the front. how can i do that because if i put in an address it doesn't let me drag on that street but only the next one to it, and then it won't let me turn where i want it to go.





help? do you know any good free software to let me do that? i live far away and want to get a glimpse of a house first before i actually go down there and to see around the neighborhood. thanks!Google earth and other map software.?
