They either have not had the street view car up your street or processed the images yet
if there is street view but your house is not there then the street view images could have just been taken before your house was built, but the satalite/plane images taken after your house was built..
either that or there was a fly on your screen..Google earth question?
They not have mapped your street for street view yet.
