How to view street view on ipod 4th generation?

I dowloaded the google earth app but dont know how to view street view. I can get as far as zoom onto the roof top on satellite.How to view street view on ipod 4th generation?
Use maps it's so much better. Should be pre-installed. Press and hold anywhere on the map and then tap on the little man icon.How to view street view on ipod 4th generation?
i think you double tap two fingers, and drag up and down.

Though i remember the image quality being flat and not that good..
